A Foundation for Every Child’s Future
Our work is driven by compassion, responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to creating a world where every child, regardless of background, has the foundation to succeed.
Building Futures Through Education, Adoption and Accountability
The CF Foundation’s story began in 2008. The initial concept emerged from witnessing an orphanage in Sudan that was in poor condition. In response, the decision was made to take accountability and responsibility for the orphanage by providing funding and managing it effectively. This included ensuring independent audits and inspections to verify that children were being properly cared for, with access to food, medical care, facilities, management, and security.
To formalize this effort, the CF Foundation established a dedicated, independent fund initiated by Irfan Parvez. Partners thereafter included Roddy Fleming (of Robert Fleming & Co. Bank) and Jimmy Carter (former US President, represented now by The Carter Center) – both great philanthropists. Today, many of our people at the CF Corporation and portfolio companies have been invited and are involved with the fund.
This support helped establish a self-managed, independently operated fund under CF Foundation. The primary goal of the foundation is to ensure that orphaned children find homes by the age of six, to support their educational journey, and to reduce the financial burdens of higher education such as tuition and living expenses.

By 2032, the individuals raised in CF Foundation–supported orphanages are projected to generate enough income to fully sustain over 6,600 children today, with capacity to support an additional 4,200 by 2032, driven by an annual adoption rate of approximately 600.
At the heart of CF Foundation is a simple yet profound belief: every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive. Education is not just an opportunity, it is a pathway to dignity, independence, and a better future.
By investing in children today, we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow, ensuring they have the support, stability, and opportunities needed to break cycles of poverty and drive meaningful change in their communities.
